Welcome to Australian Emissions Data

This project forms part of a larger project on climate justice. The Climate Justice Project provides accessible discussions of climate justice and related issues including: ‘Do my actions make a difference?’, ‘What is climate justice?’, ‘What type of agents are morally responsible for climate change?, and ‘How do we fairly divide the remaining rights to emit?’.

The project is run by Professor Jeremy Moss in the School of Humanities and Languages at the University of New South Wales.

Jeremy Moss is professor of political philosophy at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. He is the author or several books on climate change including: Carbon Justice: the Scandal of Australia’s Biggest Contribution to Climate Change; Climate Justice Beyond the State (with Lachlan Umbers), Climate Change and Justice (Cambridge University Press). He is currently working on a project on ‘climate dividends’ and one on ‘Just Transitions’.

Several people helped create the site. Kate Evans and Nevena Kosarac providing assistance with data. The website and data visualisation were built by Matthew Copeland from Copeland Creative. The project was funded by a grant from the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture’s Research Infrastructure Scheme (RIS).
